PAPAGOU RESIDENCE
This luxurious detached house in Athens’ Papagou area, immediately stands out for its seamless urban integration and application of passive building design practices.
The ground floor follows the same integration into the surrounding space of the plot, leveraging the extensive glazing for transparency and accessibility. A contrasting clean, rectangular geometry runs though the above floor.
The interior layout is sees spaces of optimmal flow and a statement hanging staircase that connects the two levels. As the final, connecting piece, the decoration lingers between understated luxury and the grounding comfort of a contemporary residence.
The challenge:
detached house | passive building | coalescence of indoor, quasi-indor, outdoor spaces
RL approach:
geometry | tactility | modern aesthetic
